Wigs with choppy layers are on our radar for this summer. Piecey layers really show off highlights and lowlights and the messier the better!
Some wigs with choppy layers are good right out of the box, like Real Deal by Raquel Welch which has a lace front, a monofilament top you can part wherever you would like, and a wefted back. Heat friendly synthetic fiber keeps the shine to a minimum.
We can also customize one of these choppy styles by thinning out the bulk and adding bangs if desired. Pictured below is Jones by Estitica Designs. I love how this customization turned out! Our client wanted less bulk on the sides for an even piecier look that could be tucked behind her ear. We busted up the permatease along the part for a more realistic look that still lets her add volume at the crown if desired.
