Toppers can cover areas of thinning, improve appearance of receding hairline, add volume or length, or add color/highlights to your existing hair. They come in a variety of base sizes which effect the location of the clips and the density of hair. The smaller the base, the less area covered and the less amount of hair. The larger the base, the more area covered and more density of hair.
However, toppers aren’t the right choice for everyone. Toppers use pressure-sensitive clips to attach to your own hair. For this reason, we don’t recommend toppers to customers experiencing active hair loss (not necessarily thinning), issues with hair breakage from damage, or extreme scalp sensitivity. We don’t want to make matters worse so we’ll always be honest with you and advise against this option if we feel that it will further damage your hair or cause more hair loss.

Pictured below is a unique little piece from Ellen Wille that features a small base size and lace-front that allows clips to attach a little further back at the temple. This is a perfect little piece to add some volume to a pixie cut. Super cute!
