Achieving this look with human hair can be challenging, not to mention potentially damaging to your piece. Generally the human hair with natural curl that you find online has been HIGHLY processed & lifted to lighter shades since dark brown or black hair is the usual source for curly hair. This processing significantly damages the hair cuticles resulting in weaker strands, breakage, dryness, and ultimately shorter life for your wig or topper.
The only truly SAFE way of adding curl is to start with the absolutely BEST hair possible – Virgin, unprocessed, Remy, European human hair. Pictured below is a perfect example. This topper has been expertly permed to match the client’s own curl pattern, followed by some subtle highlights to give it her that sunkissed look.
